My husband and I got our first lab in 2001.
Our plan was to have a fantantic family dog. Hudler turned out to be a great dog which started our love for the
breed. I knew that this was the beginning of our life with Labradors.
In 2002, we added our next lab to our family. We
ended up with a girl with a high retrieving drive. Because of Maddy's extreme desire to retrieve, I got involved
with hunting training, obedience, and Rally. We have trained together and earned our WC, CD, and RN titles. We
are currently in training for our next acheivements. This girl is an awesome working dog and really got me interested
in working with Labradors.
In 2005, we decided it was time to find a puppy that
we could show. We were lucky to get a puppy from Wynmar Kennels in Anaheim, CA (Thank you Susan and Wayne for this awesome
girl whom we LOVE so much). This girl is a wonderful addition to our family with a classic Labrador temperment and of
excellent Labrador type. We are actively showing her around the Colorado area ALWAYS placing in our classes.
We strive to continually learn about the breed by
being involved with the LRCSC, the LRC, the Colorado Springs KC, and the Pikes Peak Retriever Club.
All of our dogs have earned CGC (Canine Good Citizen)
certificates from the AKC.
Our goal is to offer quality chocolate labrador retrievers
for the family, as well as for the breed ring and other dog sports.
